What Career is Best For Me Guaranteed?
A job is a particular role or function that a person fulfils within a legitimate business or company. Then this person known as an employee or worker will be paid at specific times during each month.
To find job opportunities, we have to understand our general role, as an employee in a business or company. It is also necessary for us to understand, the importance of our particular role or job position, in the overall success of the firm.
Understanding What A Career Is
A career is a particular job area or path that you have chosen to do because it interests you. Therefore if you are wondering what is the best career for me, the most important thing is to pick a career that interests you first and foremost.
Therefore, your job life will coincide with that particular career altogether.
For example, if you want to cook professionally, you may start that educational path in high school. Then when you leave high school, you have decided to go to classes to get specific qualifications needed to become a cook.
Various jobs that you will apply for, and get, will be in direct line with your career choice. So you way start working washing dishes, cups and utensils in a little eatery first. Then as time goes on, you may work to prep the food to be cooked.
Then at the right time, when you have mastered the food basics, you will start the cooking process. Then, through further education and practical experience, you may be promoted to different levels, until you have successfully reached your goal of becoming a professional cook.
The Difference Between Jobs And Careers
The term ‘job’ commonly describes any work that persons gets paid to do. You don’t have to like the job or work you do. You just have to get paid for doing a set of tasks, whether temporarily or permanently.
Having a ‘career’ though is seen as being completely different. A career implies that the job or work you are doing now is one that you have deliberately chosen because it fits directly into your future work plans and goals.
Finding The Right Career
(1) Write down a list of jobs or careers that interest you. For example Nursing, Teaching, Banking, and Archaeology.
(2) Then, write down a list of skills you already have, both soft and hard skills.
(3) The third thing to do is to connect jobs that interest you, with skills you already have. If you are interested in teaching, a great skill you may have is, your ability to be patient with others.
(4) Then the final action to take is to attend classes to improve on, as well as learn new skills, needed for a particular career.
Skills For Specific Careers
It is important to know the skills needed specifically for your career path. Therefore doing extensive personal research is crucial.

They identify the extent to which candidates’ personality and cognitive abilities match those required to perform the role. Employers use the information collected from the psychometric test to identify the hidden aspects of candidates that are difficult to extract from a face-to-face interview.
